Decision Assurance

Decision Assurance

AI-assisted decisions

AI can contribute analysis or recommendations without becoming the organisation’s decision authority. Decision assurance keeps that distinction visible.

Contribution is not commitment

A model output, agent action or workflow recommendation is a system contribution. The consequential organisational act also depends on governing conditions, business authority, human judgement and the commitment made at the execution boundary.

What should remain reviewable

A useful decision-evidence package can describe which system contributed, which version or configuration applied, what evidence was available and relied upon, how a person reviewed or overrode the result, and what limitations remained.

A measured boundary

Decision assurance is not a model registry, runtime-control gateway or certification programme. Runtime records and model governance records may become Evidence Objects within a broader decision-state, but they do not by themselves establish the basis of the specific act.
